Doug is an NRA Instructor, a U.S. Air Force Military Police veteran, a Menominee County Reserve Deputy Sheriff, and Navy/Delta Force. He has over 20 years of experience teaching weapons and is a certified instructor in both MI and WI. Doug is married with 3 daughters and resides in Menominee, MI.

First Aid is a 7-hour classroom course (includes 1 hour for lunch) that is designed to meet OSHA regulations. The course teaches basic first aid skills such as : Giving CPR to an infant, young child, or an adult Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED).

This pistol or rifle cleaning class is designed for anyone wishing to learn more about how their firearm operates! Each class will cover disassembly, cleaning and lubrication, inspection, reassembly, and functions checks.

Automotive Car Care Classes
The goals of this hands-on class are to:
Empower the participants by giving each person the confidence to perform their own light automotive maintenance.
Give participants the language they need to communicate and understand technical jargon.
Our instructor passes along the knowledge he has gained from his many years of experience in the automotive industry, creating an informed consumer and giving each participant the know-how to properly maintain her own vehicle.
The class teaches:
• How to change a tire
• How to check fluids and add if necessary
• The basic understanding of how an engine works
• The basic knowledge of the braking system i.e. rotors, pads, drums, shoes, calipers
• Battery maintenance
• How to check belts
• Fuses
• How to replace wiper blades
